Lecture 1

In this lecture the general information about social psychology was given: the brief history, basic terms, main points. During the course we are going to find out the peculiarities in communication between people, people in a group and between groups. Theoretical basis was the main approaches, the types of research in social psychology, the rules, the methods. I’ve realised the course didn’t  seem difficult at first, but later on I was eager to get to grips with all of the processes and situations. To tell the truth I’m not a big fan of lots of theory, especially when it is scientific and kind of professional, but the tasks gave a bit of practice on real situations.
The test after this module wasn’t that difficult, but the situation given in each task truly helped to figure out some peculiarities of the terms and their meanings.
