Evaluation Nastya

I liked the topic, I think it‘s a general information in a nutshell for all of us about informative speeches. The structure was clear enough, but in introduction Nastya said “...tell me why...” and gives no time to answer. In my opinion, if it was rhetorical question, it wasn’t necessary to appeal to the audience; but if it was an attempt of interaction and we were supposed to answer the question, it’s be better to give us some time to reply. In the conclusion I’d love the speaker to leave us with short phrase, like wish, like final point. I liked there were some examples, which illustrated the rules.

Talking about vocal performance, the tempo was perfect for me, so was the volume. Unfortunately, some words were mispronounced ( I hate to correct anyone, but here are some mispronounced words “concrete”, “familiar”, “great”). The pitch and leaping intonation somewhere made speech hard to comprehend for me. There was use of gestures, facial expression, the physical side of presentation was pretty good!
In my opinion, the timing was great (the main points were presented, the speech wasn’t long), as for the creativity, I heard the text from the student book ( I’m not against it, but I think it’s better customise the speech, make it absolutely yours- fill with your personal examples and story).
